A family company with a long tradition
UM-ING d.o.o. has been operating since 2004 as a family business specializing in design and engineering in the oil processing industry. With the support of our engineering team and leading global companies in the edible oil sector, we have successfully executed numerous projects in Serbia and abroad. Keeping up with global trends, we evolve alongside oil processing technologies and processes.
We take pride in offering comprehensive solutions for oil processing plants as well as customized solutions for specific segments of the industry.
The high quality of equipment and technological solutions provided by UM-ING has been made possible through collaborations with world-renowned companies such as JJ Lurgi, Petkus, and Harburg Freudenberger.
Complete solutions for edible oil production processes
Over the years, we have also developed our own technological solutions, including transport and storage systems for sunflower hulls and meal, as well as plants for the production of technical fatty acids during edible oil refining.
Technical fatty acids are high-value products used in a wide range of industries. They are derived through the refining and processing of vegetable oils and fats, and UM-ING employs advanced technologies to ensure high quality and environmentally friendly production processes.
We have developed these plants for refinery capacities ranging from 50 to 500 tons per day. These automatically controlled turnkey plants feature optimized chemical and energy consumption, compact design, and can be delivered as modular units pre-mounted on steel structures.
Petkus
UM-ING began its partnership with the German company Petkus Technologie in 2009. Due to positive results, a joint company was established two years later. Initially Petkus Balkan, it is now known as Petkus Engineering, specializing in seed storage and processing. After six years, the company expanded into process control field with the launch of Petkus Process Control, completing its service portfolio.
